I am a Columbia-trained psychiatrist who provides therapy and medication management for adults, adolescents, and children struggling with a wide range of mental health difficulties including depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, anxiety, autism, and ADHD. Combining evidenced-based psychopharmacology with developmentally-informed psychodynamic and behavioral psychotherapy, I will work with you to manage challenges with stress, life transitions, and relationship difficulties using a warm, compassionate, and individualized approach. I meet with individuals and their families in person at my office in the Upper West Side but I am available for remote visits if preferred.

I studied biophysics and biochemistry at Yale College before receiving my MD and PhD from Columbia University. I completed my adult and child psychiatry training at Columbia University and Cornell University. I currently conduct psychopharmacology research developing new treatments for autism and schizophrenia at Columbia University. My background in biophysics, biochemistry, and pharmacology gives me a unique expertise in incorporating the most cutting-edge scientific evidence in addressing the mental health needs of every individual.

My office is located on 200 west 90th street. Please call my office to inquire about appointments. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Services

I offer in person appointments on the Upper West Side and flexible scheduling for telehealth visits throughout the week, including evenings.

Before beginning treatment, we will have an initial consultation during which we will discuss your specific needs and work together to develop goals for our time together.

Subsequent appointment frequency, length, and duration of treatment are determined collaboratively and will be periodically reevaluated throughout treatment course.

I am not in-network with any commercial insurance plans but I can help you navigate your out-of-network benefits towards making treatment more affordable and accessible. A good faith estimate of annual expected charges is available at your request.
