I’m a Columbia-trained psychiatrist who provides therapy and medication management for adults, adolescents, and children struggle with a wide range of mental health difficulties including depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, anxiety, autism, and ADHD. Combining evidenced-based psychopharmacology and with developmentally-informed psychodynamic and behavioral psychotherapy, I will work with you in addressing difficulties with stress, life transitions, and relationship difficulties using a warm, compassionate, and individualized approach. I meet with individuals and their families in person at my office in the Upper West Side but also available for remote visits if preferred.

I studied biophysics and biochemistry at Yale College before earning my MD and PhD from Columbia University. I completed my adult and child psychiatry training at Columbia University and Cornell University. I currently conduct psychopharmacology research developing new treatments for autism and schizophrenia at Columbia University. My background in biophysics, biochemistry, and pharmacology gives me a unique expertise in incorporating the most cutting-edge scientific evidence in addressing mental health needs of every individual.

My office is located on 200 west 90th street and see patients in person on Wednesdays but offer virtual visits other days of the week.

Services

I offer in person appointments on the UWS on Wednesdays from 9am-5pm but offer flexible scheduling for remote sessions on other days of the week, including evenings.

Before beginning treatment, we have an initial evaluation to work together on understanding what brings you to treatment and developing treatment goals and plan towards building a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Subsequent appointment frequency, length, and duration of treatment are determined collaboratively and will be periodically reevaluated throughout treatment course.

I am not in-network with any commercial insurance plans but I can help you navigate your out-of-network benefits towards making treatment more affordable and accessible. A good faith estimate of annual expected charges is available at your request.
